陈贵泉实验室长期从事神经退行疾病和神经发育缺陷疾病的发病机理的研究。临床研究的证据表明老年痴呆症和小颅畸形症的产生与γ-secretase信号通路及PI3I-Akt信号通路有密切的遗传学联系。我们主要以分子生物学和小鼠遗传学等手段研究早老素和早老素相关蛋白,以及PDK1和Akt等PI3K通路上的基因调控神经干细胞增殖分化、调控大脑皮层发育以及调节成年大脑内神经元存活的分子细胞机制。先后在Journal of Neuroscience、PNAS 和Nature等刊物上发表论文二十篇。
